About the job Senior Procurement Officer

Purpose:

Optimize the company's stock holding based on data analysis and s treamline the ordering of stock.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Place all orders with suppliers
• Navigate and maintain the procurement model
• Foreign and local supplier payments
• Communication with freight forwarders on stock in transit/pick-ups
• Communication with suppliers on stock orders, arrivals, and despatch dates
• Communication with Quality Assurance on stock arrivals and permit applications
• Order confirmation from suppliers
• Load advanced payments for suppliers
• Assist in Tender applications and stock analysis for tender
• Fact sheet creation
• Advanced shipping notice Creation
• Tracking of bookings with distributor
• Management of warehouse stock
• Weekly tender stock holding to Tender Manager
• Sending suppliers monthly forecasts

Qualifications and experience:

• BCom Finance/ BCom Supply Chain
• 5 years experience in Supply Chain preferably in the Pharmaceutical or Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry (Food or cosmetic)
