Job description

Our client is an international company offering transformative wellbeing workshops and events.

They are looking for a remote Operations and Event Coordinator / Project Manager.

This role ensures their consumer-facing workshops run smoothly, the presenters are supported, and the families feel well cared for.

The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end operational delivery.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
  • Matric + Degree
  • Strong operations, events, or coordination background
  • Excellent written English and highly professional communication
  • Impeccable organisation and multitasking ability
  • Comfortable with digital platforms (Luma or similar, CRM systems, Google Suite)
  • Confident managing budgets and event logistics
  • Able to work proactively across multiple weekly events
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Customer Communication
    • Manage all customer emails for the region
    • Handle ticket changes, refunds, booking issues, FAQs
    • Support parents before, during, and after workshops
  • Calendar Planning & Event Scheduling
    • Work with senior management to map out workshop dates
    • Build the full annual and quarterly calendar for the region
    • Once dates are approved, ensure each event is added to the booking platform, website and set up as a Facebook event
    • Notify marketing of all new or updated events
  • Venue Coordination
    • Source and secure venues for workshops
    • Manage contracts, invoices, access instructions, parking, and setup times
  • Presenter Management
    • Schedule presenters and support staff
  • Budgeting & Financial Tracking
    • Create and track workshop budgets (venue, staffing, stock, catering)
    • Process venue and supplier invoices

Salary : R – R depending on experience
