Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced senior leader to oversee the ICT Management Information Systems (MIS) function. This role involves developing the enterprise information architecture, managing MIS staff, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years in MIS, with strong leadership and strategic skills. Preference is given to applicants from designated groups in line with equity targets. The position is based in Pretoria, South Africa.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ MIS experience with at least 3 years at managerial level.
• OR minimum 10 years’ MIS experience with at least 5 years at managerial level.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for the ICT MIS function at an enterprise level.
• Lead planning and execution of the Transnet Engineering ICT MIS department.
• Enhance information systems to support business objectives.
• Plan, design, and maintain an ECM operational model.
• Manage and develop all MIS staff.
