Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager to oversee the IT infrastructure department in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, ensure systems reliability, and manage a budget while collaborating with various teams. Candidates should have at least 10 years of IT experience, strong management skills, and familiarity with cloud infrastructure. This role requires excellent communication, analytical skills, and a strong understanding of ITIL practices.

Qualifications

• At least 10+ years of IT experience including managing teams responsible for architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management and infrastructure planning and operations.
• Experience in areas such as network design and administration, data center operations, database administration, and systems programming and administration.
• Good understanding and familiarity with cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure systems reliability and SLA's are met.
• Oversee the IT infrastructure department, including Servers, Services, Network and VoIP.
• Manage the IT infrastructure budget.
