Job Description:• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process in accounting software.• Bring the books to the trail balance stage and ensure the trail balance accuracy.• Filing of electronic or hardcopy documents.• Review management reports and issue to clients for A+, A and B, C category clients• Manage VAT reconciliation and submission process• Client management and engagement related to bookkeeping matters.• Manage bookkeeping team administrative and management aspects.• Create, review, and approve audit packs/ financial statement packs.• Various other ad hoc duties as required. • Provide direction to team• Trains, provides work direction, and problem-solving assistance for the Bookkeeping team.• Overseeing the daily operations of Bookkeeping Team.• Assist the Bookkeeper Team Leader with the supervision of the bookkeeping staff, including hiring, scheduling and assigning work, reviewing performance, and recommends salary increases, promotions, transfers, demotions, or terminations.
Qualifications:- Completed Certificate or Completed Diploma in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Matric with mid to high grades in mathematics and accounting.
- At least three to four year bookkeeping experience in an accounting practice environment
- Able to work with Microsoft Office 365 product suite including Excel, Word, Outlook
