Overview

A Pinetown-based clothing supplier is looking to appoint a Sample Set Supervisor to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot problems that occur during production
• Instruct and communicate accordingly with management and technical support
• Oversee the Sample Set production line according to production schedule and ensure deadlines and output targets are met daily.
• Create a production schedule

Requirements

• Matric
• Able to plan efficiently and prioritize work daily with pattern makers and machinists
• Minimum 3 years experience in the Sewing / Textile environment
• Technical Skills / Garment construction knowledge
• Able to Sew and assist with the machinists when they have a problem
• Prepared to work on a Saturday till 13:00
• Microsoft Office
• SYNC is an advantage
