Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and stay up to date with industry trends
  • Assist customers with queries related to pricing, availability, and product specs
  • Open and maintain sustainable new accounts
  • Achieve monthly sales and profit targets
  • Prepare and submit accurate weekly / monthly reports and call logs
  • Collaborate closely with internal and counter sales staff
  • Conduct quotes, check stock, and process orders using Syspro
  • Participate in stock takes and assist with customer account queries
Requirements
  • 3-5 years' experience in steel and steel-related product sales
  • Retail environment background required
  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative is a strong advantage
  • Experience using Syspro is essential
  • Target and KPI-driven with a strong focus on customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Valid driver's license
