About the Role

An established company in Valves and Hydrants sector is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join the team early next year. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, excellent client relationship skills, and experience in Pipes, Fittings, and Valves.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, grow, and maintain a strong customer base including distributors, contractors, consulting engineers, and end users.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records at all times.
  • Achieve monthly and annual order intake and sales targets.
  • Provide training to customers when required.
  • Manage and resolve customer queries, requirements, and issues effectively.
  • Generate quotations using prescribed methods, ensuring proper filing and reference on the company drive.
  • Obtain necessary approvals for quotations and orders according to the company’s limits of authority.
  • Monitor gross profit and ensure quotations comply with the minimum GP / markup and ruling exchange rate requirements.
  • Conduct professional technical presentations on company products and specifications.
  • Identify market segments, customer needs, and product mix opportunities within assigned regions.
  • Administer customer accounts, including follow‑up on payments, quotations, orders, invoices, and account updates.
  • Submit detailed weekly reports on customer visits and upcoming plans.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative in the Pipes, Fittings, and Valves industry (essential).
  • Strong technical and product knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
