Overview

Our client is urgently seeking a driven and detail-oriented Sales Representative with experience in Meat / Seafood, calling on Retail Chains e.g.: Checkers, Pick ’n Pay, Spar and Shoprite.

Area to cover: Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg, Southern Suburbs of Johannesburg and Midrand region.

Well-spoken in English and Afrikaans

Candidate must have their own transport (Reliable) not older than 7 years with valid Driver Licence

Responsibilities

• To work closely with Telesales and team of merchandisers to achieve all store standards and sales budget for the area across entire range of products, which include (but not limited to) Fresh & Frozen Fish / Meat etc.
• Complete weekly call cycles
• Grow and maintain a customer / client database by building sound relationships
• Continuously seeking new opportunities
• Resolve all customer queries promptly and professionally
• Drive orders and awareness on all product lines where applicable
• Receive and process orders with relevant parties
• Meet monthly sales targets
• Attend meetings when required
• Area to cover: Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg, Southern Suburbs of Johannesburg and Midrand region.

Qualifications

• Matric
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years Sales Rep experience (Must have called on Checkers, Shoprite, PnP, etc.)
• Problem solver

Salary

• Basic R15 000.00 to R20 000.00
