Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales preferably within the FMCG or retail sector.
  • Existing relationships with wholesalers and retailers in Gauteng will be advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Call on Wholesalers, Forecourts and Pick n Pay outlets within the assigned territory.
  • Ensure product availability, correct pricing and proper shelf placement in all stores.
  • Take orders accurately and follow through on timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing and promotional activity in the market.
  • Develop and maintain strong long-term customer relationships to support repeat business.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Ensure displays are aligned with brand standards.
  • Provide regular feedback and reports on sales performance opportunities and market trends.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales building strong customer relationships and ensuring brand visibility across Wholesalers Forecourts and Pick n Pay stores in the Gauteng region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Call on Wholesalers Forecourts and Pick n Pay outlets within the assigned territory (Gauteng South / North).
  • Ensure product availability, correct pricing and proper shelf placement in all stores.
