Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales revenue by implementing AutoTrader's selling process across your customer base, engaging with decision-makers, and meeting deadlines to deliver value
- Enhance customer loyalty by demonstrating the value AutoTrader provides through data
- Upsell products based on customer needs and data insights to increase dealer yield
- Expand the customer base through new business development, including cold calls and outbound initiatives
- Build relationships with new customers to maximize revenue opportunities
- Ensure all client interactions align with the contact plan
- Maintain detailed records of meetings and calls using activity tracking sheets
- Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate deal progression and closure
- Meet monthly targets as per the customer contact plan
- Provide exceptional customer service and encourage feedback for continuous improvement
- Prepare and present monthly reports in sales meetings
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric or equivalent with basic mathematics, passing with at least a C-grade
- Formal sales qualification is advantageous
- Solid understanding of the digital environment
- Proven track record in digital/online sales
- At least 3 years in a B2B sales environment
- Minimum 3 years experience working with MS Excel
- Proficient in Google Suite, especially Google Sheets, and basic Excel calculations
- Ability to work independently
- Experience in cold calling and new business development
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Proficient in sales techniques
