Overview
Job Purpose : To drive sales excellence across the contact centre by leading coaching strategy, improving performance frameworks, and building sales capability beyond frontline team leadership. This role has strategic influence, works closely with operations leadership, and is responsible for delivering measurable revenue growth through enhanced sales skills and processes.
Responsibilities
- Coaching Strategy & Leadership — Design, implement, and manage advanced sales coaching programmes across multiple teams. Train and mentor Team Leaders, Sales Coaches, and Supervisors to ensure consistent coaching standards.
- Performance Management — Analyse sales performance data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities. Collaborate with operations leadership to address underperformance at both team and campaign level.
- Sales Capability Development — Create sales training modules tailored to specific products, campaigns, or market changes. Lead workshops and masterclasses for top-tier sales skill development.
- Stakeholder Engagement — Partner with Workforce Planning, Quality Assurance, and L&D teams to align on performance improvement initiatives. Present coaching impact and performance insights to senior management.
- Quality & Compliance — Ensure all sales coaching activities are aligned with compliance, regulatory, and company standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in sales coaching within a contact centre, preferably at a multi-team or multi-campaign level.
- Strong track record of exceeding sales and performance targets.
- Advanced knowledge of sales methodologies, performance metrics, and coaching techniques.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and motivational skills.
- Ability to influence senior leaders and drive change.
Qualifications
- Relevant sales, business, or L&D qualification (advantageous).
- Coaching or leadership certifications (e.g., ICF, ILM) preferred.
