Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and hands‑on Retail Sales Manager to lead our in‑store team and drive sales performance. The successful candidate will be based on the sales floor, ensuring exceptional customer service, staff productivity, and strong brand presence. This role requires a motivated leader with a proactive “can‑do” attitude and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Allocate sales targets and ensure team performance meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service.
  • Maintain high merchandising and store presentation standards.
  • Lead, motivate, mentor, and develop the store team to maximise sales.
  • Manage daily store operations, sales activities, and staff performance.
  • Enforce work procedures and address non‑compliance appropriately.
  • Provide daily sales reporting to management and staff.
  • Ensure ongoing staff training, development, and strong product knowledge.
Requirements & Skills
  • Matric / Senior Certificate.
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Email).
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans (both essential).
  • Minimum 5 years’ management experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and lead a team effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and own transport.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to changes.
  • Basic HR knowledge.
  • Willingness to work retail hours (195 hours / month; shift roster).
