About You

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, which are crucial for excelling in this role. As a clinical leader, you will leverage your clinical expertise to guide the team towards achieving outstanding care outcomes. The Role

This is a Part-Time position working at both Beach House and Lakehouse in Kinross Care Centre working 45.75 hours per fortnight.

Week 1

  • Monday: 22:00 - 07:15 (Beach House)
  • Tuesday: 22:00 - 07:15 (Beach House)

Week 2

  • Monday: 22:00 - 07:15 (Beach House)
  • Tuesday: 22:00 - 07:15 (Beach House)
  • Wednesday: 22:00 - 07:15 (Lake House)

Please note, you must be able to commit to all days/shifts to be considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive reviews of residents through clinical assessments
  • Safely administer medication to residents
  • Falls management and prevention
  • Complete documentation for residents, ensuring accurate care planning and relevant supporting documents
  • Supervise the delivery of care plans on a daily basis
  • Providing ongoing coaching, mentoring to the care staff
  • Comply with Occupational Health and Safety in accordance with Aged Care Standards and Risk Management
Essential Criteria
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Evidence of COVID-19 and Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-month validity)
  • Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checks
  • Knowledge of the resident classification scale, accreditation and continuous improvement
  • Willingness to attend 3 days paid induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
