A leading construction management firm seeks an experienced Resident Engineer to manage construction activities in Midrand. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in road and bridge construction and must hold a PR Eng/PR Tech registration. The role includes site supervision, quality control, contract administration, and health and safety oversight. The Resident Engineer reports to the Contracts Engineer and is required to manage the WSP Construction Management Services team for a contract period of 20 months. The Resident Engineer responsibility is to co-ordinate; monitor and control; and report on all construction and construction-related activities in order to achieve the project scope; budget; schedule; quality; environmental; and safety objectives for the Works in accordance with the project contract document, regulatory and statutory requirements.
