The ideal candidate will have a Technical N3 Certificate, strong supervisory skills, and experience in maintenance. Qualifications
- Minimum Technical N3 Certificate required.
- Must hold a Trade Test Certificate as a Fitter, Electrician, or Millwright.
- Experience in electrical and mechanical repairs advantageous.

Responsibilities
- Daily production processes and outputs, and maintaining production and quality standards (DAFF Meat Safety Act.).
- Routine planned and preventative maintenance on all Rendering Plant, Effluent Plant and Waste Water Treatment Plant equipment;
- Effectively dealing with processing interruptions and/or breakdowns;
- Interaction with Abattoir and communication to senior management;
- All labour-related issues, including managing of staff compliment;
- Maintaining discipline in accordance with Company Disciplinary Code & Procedures;
- Adherence to all Health & Safety, Environmental and Risk Standards and Policies;
- Implementing and/or maintaining 20Keys Program.
Qualifications
- Minimum Technical N3 Certificate;
- Be in possession of a Trade Test Certificate as a Fitter or Electrician or Millwright;
- Previous experience in electrical and mechanical repairs and maintenance of Rendering processing equipment advantageous;
- Proven experience in a line-supervisory role;
- Computer literate – MS Office;
- Strong administrative, organising, interpersonal and time management skills;
- Must be prepared to work shifts, weekends, Public Holidays and overtime as required;
- In possession of a valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
