Position Overview

The Raw Material Store Supervisor is responsible for the effective control, quality assurance, storage, and issuing of raw materials to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations. The role ensures inventory accuracy, adherence to FIFO principles, compliance with company SOPs, and effective coordination with internal stakeholders to maintain optimal stock levels and minimise waste.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and quality-check raw materials in line with specifications and FSC requirements.
  • Ensure accurate binning, labelling, and stock integrity within the warehouse.
  • Apply FIFO principles and monitor expired or slow-moving stock.
  • Issue raw materials, dies, and artwork plates to production in accordance with job cards.
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts, participate in stock takes, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and transactions within SAP and Medea systems.
  • Monitor stock levels and proactively report low or critical items to Purchasing.
  • Ensure adequate availability of consumables, including cores and boxes.
  • Enforce compliance with company SOPs, health and safety, and internal controls.
  • Provide operational support to Logistics when required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ERP systems.
