Responsibilities

As a strategic partner to our leaders, you’ll be the driving force behind:

  • Organizational Development
  • Define and implement the People Agenda, by analyzing, designing, and implementing structures that fuel agility, efficiency, and growth
  • Facilitate org design and workforce planning that align with strategic goals, as growth plan, talent management, succession planning
  • Leadership & Team Development

  • Change Management & Transformation
  • Lead people-centered change in complex transformation initiatives

  • HR Strategy & Business Partnership
  • Act as a thought partner to senior leaders on culture, talent, and capability
  • Use data to diagnose challenges and co-create solutions
  • Coordinate alignment between business priorities and people strategies

You will have overall responsibility for all local PX activities in SKF South Africa, in close collaboration with Country Manager and PX Community. You'll be part of the local management team and be an integral member of our global PX community.

Your Profile

Thriving in this role requires detailed experience in Human Resource area (PX), in addition to a deep insight into business priorities and the people’s experiences. You should also have:

  • A master’s or bachelor’s degree in HR (PX) or related field, along with extensive working experience as an HR (PX) professional.
  • Extensive experience in organizational design, change management, and leadership development along with a deep understanding of team dynamics and systemic thinking
  • Hands-on experience with transformation projects (M&A, agile shifts, culture change, etc.)
  • A strategic mindset with a bias for action, creativity, and influence
  • Good understanding of South African labor law
  • The ability to navigate a matrix organization, establishing effectiveworking relations and coordinating shared commitments, with effective facilitation and coaching skills
  • Positive attitude, integrity, and a practical mindset for solving problems by bridging simplicity with compliance to regulations and policies.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience using people analytics tools, to promote data-driven decision-making and digital transformation, will be considered as meritorious
