Property Manager

We are currently looking for a full time Property Manager to cover our highly performing branches in Bingley & Shipley. The ideal candidate must be able to deliver outstanding customer service to our clients and work at a fast pace. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in customer service, achieving deadlines and providing attention to detail. They will actively demonstrate the ability to build relationships with customers and meet customers’ high service expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out inventories and checkouts
  • Booking and dealing with end-of-tenancy checkouts
  • Reporting to landlords on the outcome of end-of-tenancy checkouts
  • Booking and carrying out mid term inspections
  • Reporting to landlords the outcome of mid term inspections
  • Carry out fire safety checks on a weekly basis at HMOs
  • Organise 6 monthly and annual fire alarm services at HMOs
Further Responsibilities When Needed Will Include
  • Identify differences between move-in and checkout reports
  • Inform tenants of negative checkout results & arrange repair/cleaning works
  • Liaise between tenants & landlords to agree on deposit deductions
  • Gather and provide documents for deposit disputes
  • Raising issues with tenants following negative inspection results
  • Dealing with maintenance issues reported online, in person & over the telephone
  • Daily chasing outstanding maintenance jobs
  • To ensure all maintenance jobs are completed quickly as per legal requirements
  • Cross check move in inventories against checkout reports with great attention to detail
  • Deal with checkout and maintenance disputes
  • Booking and completing mid-tenancy property visits
  • Arranging legally required safety checks
  • Dealing with right to rent & tenancy renewals
  • Dealing with account queries and chasing arrears
  • Answering phone calls & dealing with day-to-day enquiries
Requirements
  • A full driving license with access to own transport is essential
Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday 09:00–17:30
  • Alternate Saturdays 09:00–13:00
