In this critical position, you will conduct property surveys, assessing and reporting on building conditions both internally and externally. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct stock condition surveys to meet regulatory standards, including Decent Homes and HHSRS.
• Assess energy efficiency, helping achieve environmental targets through recommendations in line with PAS2035.
• Identify and manage risks, including hazardous materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to devise solutions for property condition issues.
• Maintain records using our stock condition database and support quality assurance.

This role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis. This is a field based role covering the Devon/Cornwall area.

Skills

• Experience in building surveying or construction management, ideally within a social housing setting.

• Excellent communication skills, customer focus and a proactive problem‑solving approach.
• HNC, NVQ or equivalent qualifications in a property‑related field.
• PAS 2035 or DEA accreditation, or a willingness to work towards.
• Full UK driving licence, and access to a suitable vehicle.
