Job summary

Property Accountant Lynnwood Ridge (Pretoria Must preferably be available immediately! Salary : R

Responsibilities
  • Manage full financial administration for allocated schemes and portfolios.
  • Process and reconcile debtors, creditors, and bank accounts.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.
  • Maintain accurate audit trails and financial records.
  • Assist with budgeting, levy schedules, and financial planning.
  • Manage arrears and ensure accurate billing on WeConnectU.
  • Support Portfolio Managers with financial queries and trustee reporting.
  • Prepare annual budgets for community schemes, including income and expenditure, levy schedules, reserve fund calculations, employee salary requirements, and CSOS schedule where applicable.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit files and submit them to auditors.
  • Assist auditors with queries and required supporting documents and process final audit adjustments after audit completion.
  • Ensure compliance with STSMA, PPRA, CSOS Act, and other relevant legislation.
  • Maintain financial integrity and internal controls in accordance with company procedures.
Qualifications
  • Grade 12 qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping.
  • 23 years experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in property management.
  • Strong understanding of debtors, creditors, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with WeConnectU or similar property management software (advantageous).
  • Valid license and own transport.
