I am working with an up-and-coming project management consultancy based in Ilford, who are searching for a confident and client-facing Project Manager to join their supportive team and run the whole lifecycle of project delivery in the Retail, Healthcare, Childcare and Veterinary sector.
The Project Manager will be joining a modern consultancy that has a strong pipeline of projects in the Retail, Veterinary, Healthcare and Childcare sectors.
The Project Manager will be working alongside a growing team of 10 consultants including Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Associate Directors and Project Directors.
The Project Manager will bring experience delivering the full lifecycle of schemes which are predominantly fit-outs and new builds with contract values up to £10m.
The Project Manager will collaborate with Quantity Surveyors appointed to the same projects throughout all stages of the lifecycle to ensure that costs are being controlled.
The Project Manager will deliver high-quality schemes with contract values between £k-£10m.
Collaborate with the Project Management team to drive schemes forward to completion.
Communicate with external parties such as contractors and subcontractors.
Provide support / mentorship to junior Project Managers.
Report progress feedback on projects to the Senior Directors weekly.
Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors during all phases of project lifecycles.
Review costs with Cost Consultants regularly to ensure schemes are within budget constraints.
Attend weekly site visits.
Arrange and attend client meetings.
Ensure all works are compliant with safety and quality standards.
Previous experience working for a consultancy.
Exposure to delivering projects in Retail, Healthcare, Veterinary or Childcare sector is preferred.
MRICS or MAPM Chartered is preferred.
BSc / MSc Construction Project Management.
Capable of managing multiple schemes simultaneously.
Able to commute to Ilford.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
£55,-£65, per annum salary package.
27 days annual leave + bank holiday.
