Job description

Project Engineer – Engineering company in Germiston, Gauteng requires Project Engineers (24 months fixed term contract) with Matric / Grade 12 certificate, National Diploma / BTech: Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering and 5-8 years' project management experience, with at least 2 years' in a formal Project Management role (essential).

Preference would be given to person registered as Project Management Professional.

Duties & Responsibilities

Person will be responsible for budget establishments and control based on projects, compliance to tendering and procurement process, technical solutions with regards to maintenance and repairs, reduction of overhead maintenance cost and contractor management.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Person must have Grade 12 certificate, National Diploma / BTech: Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering and 5-8 years' project management experience, with at least 2 years' in a formal Project Management role (essential).

Preference would be given to person registered as Project Management Professional.

Person must have knowledge / experience in SAP CMMS (computerised maintenance management system) as well as MS Projects.
