Responsibilities
- Championing technical brilliance throughout every phase of project implementation.
- Playing a pivotal role in design contribution and meticulous production of project documentation.
- Managing equipment specifications and selections within project boundaries.
- Actively engaging with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure flawless project execution.
- Upholding meticulous records and reports to keep projects on track.
Technical Engineering
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, schedules, and reports.
- Contribute to technical excellence of the project in engineering deliverable development.
- Equipment specifications, adjudication and selections in line with project requirements, quality and budget.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution, particularly at construction / assembly phase.
- Conduct regular fabrication site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Proven experience in project engineering, preferably in the capital equipment or process industry.
- Strong technical background with knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with suppliers and team members.
- Solid organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Continuously finding new ways to innovate to improve performance and streamline project engineering.
