Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in South Africa is seeking a qualified nurse to deliver comprehensive and quality nursing care. The role involves collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure patient safety and enhance the patient experience. Candidates must possess a degree or diploma in General Nursing, while those with additional qualifications in Midwifery are preferred. Qualifications

  • ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Degree / Diploma in General Nursing.
  • DESIRED EDUCATION: Midwifery; Postgraduate certificate / diploma in relevant specialty area.
  • ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: None.
  • DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 1 year of post-graduate qualification experience before placement in a specialised unit.

  • Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safety.
  • Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment.
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.

  • Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged.
