The Lead Operator is responsible for overseeing daily operations on the production line within a beverage manufacturing facility. This role ensures optimal equipment performance, product quality, and team coordination while driving continuous improvement in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), minimizing breakdowns, and maintaining compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Production Oversight: Lead and coordinate production line activities to meet daily output targets
• Team Leadership: Supervise operators, provide training, and ensure adherence to SOPs
• OEE Management: Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness by analysing availability, performance, and quality metrics
• Quality Control: Enforce quality standards, conduct in-process checks, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations
• Breakdown Response: Manage equipment breakdowns, initiate root cause analysis, and coordinate timely repairs with maintenance teams
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production, downtime, and quality deviations
• Safety & Hygiene: Uphold workplace safety protocols and sanitation standards
• Continuous Improvement: Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Experience
