About the role

The Product Manager II will own one or more product features and lead project execution. He/she will own product development plans and represent their feature(s) within the cross-functional team proposing new feature ideas that address a customer pain point or need based on his/her deep and first hand understanding of the customer. He/she will prioritize and communicate production customer issues and defects based on relevant data for timely resolution and also lead the demo to key stakeholders at program milestones.

Responsibilities:

Customer Focus:

  • Engage with customers to gather requirements and anticipate needs.
  • Analyze market trends and predict short-term changes.
  • Strive to meet customer expectations while maintaining product viability.

Data-Driven Decision-Making:

  • Collect data from various sources to solve business problems.
  • Make informed decisions based on quantitative analysis.
  • Generate new ideas through data insights.

Go to Market & Product Marketing:

  • Support go-to-market strategies and communicate requirements to stakeholders.
  • Assist in launch plans and answer customer queries.
  • Develop collateral for sales and customer events.

Product Delivery & Development:

  • Resolve customer issues with effective product features.
  • Participate in product discovery and manage parts of the product lifecycle.
  • Understand and apply software development life cycles (SDLCs).
  • Shape product vision and strategy based on competitive analysis.
  • Formulate and budget operating costs.
  • Develop product plans and business cases.

Technical Skills:

  • Prioritize functionality with high-level technical approaches.
  • Understand data and technical architecture principles.

Personal Capability:

  • Continuously develop key competencies and seek feedback.
  • Identify and analyze problems to propose solutions.
  • Innovate and experiment with new ideas.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 4-6 years of product management experience.
  • Proven ownership of products or features.
  • Experience in customer engagement and product development.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (preferred but not essential).

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant technologies and tools.
  • Ability to manage product lifecycles and develop strategic plans.

Customer Focus:

  • Experience in market analysis and trend prediction.

  • Familiarity with SDLCs and product discovery processes.
