Role Overview

The absolute legend of a Product Manager we're seeking will be responsible for working within the Product development team to deliver new initiatives, enhancements, and resolve issues with a full understanding of the product development life cycle and have a track record of delivering changes, enhancements, and new functionality.

As a Product Manager, you will define product strategies, manage roadmaps, feature ROI and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement. This role is central to driving innovation, customer satisfaction, and commercial impact across Weaver Fintech’s product portfolio. You should have strong expertise in regulatory compliance (KYC/AML), telecommunications operations (MVNO), product management methodologies, and cross-functional stakeholder management.

Your Leader: Head of Product

The Team: The Product team forms an integral part of the Weaver Fintech business, collaborating with several departments, and is responsible for leading development and optimisation of products that deliver value to customers, merchants, and the business.

Key Responsibilities
About You
Product Strategy & Planning
  • Define product vision, strategy, and goals in alignment with company
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps based on market insights, customer feedback, and business priorities.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
Commercial Performance and Revenue Management
  • Develop business cases, revenue projections, and ROI calculations; track product feature payback periods and P&L performance to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Design and implement pricing models for features, bundles, and services that maximise revenue and margin; conduct pricing experiments and elasticity analysis to optimise feature pricing and packaging strategies.
  • Monitor feature adoption rates, ARPU impact, and customer lifetime value (CLV); analyse key commercial KPIs including adoption rates, conversion rates, and revenue attribution to drive growth opportunities.
Delivery & Execution
  • Translate product requirements into clear specifications and user stories.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Manage product launches and coordinate go-to-market activities with relevant stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g. c-suite, marketing, sales, operations, finance) to align product initiatives.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring product decisions reflect use needs and expectations.
Performance & Optimisation
  • Monitor product performance using data and analytics to inform improvements.
  • Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to validate hypotheses and optimise features.
  • Gather feedback and iterate on products to enhance usability, engagement, and value.
What You Bring
  • Proven Product Leadership in Regulated Environments: 5+ years of product management experience in fintech, telecommunications, or other heavily regulated industries with demonstrated ability to ship compliant products at scale
  • KYC/AML Domain Knowledge: Hands-on experience building or managing identity verification, customer onboarding, or compliance platforms with knowledge of regulatory frameworks (RICA / FICA)
  • MVNO or Telecommunications Industry Experience: Direct experience with MVNO operations, mobile service provisioning, SIM lifecycle management, or telecom regulatory compliance
  • Technical Proficiency & API-First Mindset: Strong understanding of API design, integration patterns, and platform architecture with ability to work closely with engineering teams on technical trade-offs and system design decisions
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Track record of using analytics, A/B testing, and quantitative metrics to drive product decisions, optimize conversion funnels, and measure success across compliance and business KPIs
  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders including C-suite executives, legal/compliance teams, engineering, operations, and external partners (MNOs, regulators, vendors)
  • Customer-Centric Product Development: Experience conducting use research, gathering customer feedback, and translating compliance requirements into seamless user experiences that balance regulatory needs with friction reduction
  • Risk Management & Compliance Mindset: Understanding of risk-based approaches to KYC, fraud prevention frameworks, and ability to assess product decisions through a compliance-first lens while maintaining business velocity
  • Go-to-Market & Product Launch Experience: History of successfully launching B2B or B2C products in regulated markets including market analysis, competitive positioning, pricing strategy, and partnership development
  • Agile Methodology & Delivery Excellence: Proficiency in Agile/Scrum frameworks with experience managing product backlogs, sprint planning, and delivering iterative releases in fast-paced environments while maintaining high quality standards.
