Job Title: Procurement Manager

Location: Boksburg / Johannesburg Area

Reporting to: Head of Supply Chain / Operations

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers (local and international)
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain supplier agreements
  • Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Monitor supplier performance and risk (quality, lead times)
  • Collaborate with operations, logistics, and finance on demand planning
  • Manage procurement team (buyers, planners)
  • Track procurement KPIs and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with B‑BBEE procurement (if applicable)
Qualifications and Experience
  • Relevant business / commercial or manufacturing / engineering degree is preferred, or NQF 7 qualifications.
  • Proven experience in a purchasing management role, preferably within a retail or industrial environment.
  • Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements.
  • Contract management and supplier experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management.
  • Computer literate, especially Excel skills.
