Job Title:

Procurement Manager

Location:

Boksburg / Johannesburg Area

Reporting to:

Head of Supply Chain / Operations

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers (local and international)
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain supplier agreements
  • Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Monitor supplier performance and risk (quality, lead times)
  • Collaborate with operations, logistics, and finance on demand planning
  • Manage procurement team (buyers, planners)
  • Track procurement KPIs and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with B-BBEE procurement (if applicable)
Qualifications and Experience Levels:

Relevant business / commercial or manufacturing / engineering degree is preferred, or NQF 7 qualifications.

Proven experience in a purchasing management role, preferably within a retail or industrial environment

Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements. Contract management and supplier experience. Project management experience. Knowledge of supply chain management. Computer literate, especially Excel skills.
