Overview

The warehouse attendant will be responsible for but not limited to the offloading and loading of harzadous substances. The warehouse attendant must be able to work independently within the framework of a team while demonstrating a positive and safe attitude.

  • 2 – 3 years relevant experience in a warehouse environment in the chemical industry.
Duties
  • Receiving and Processing Incoming Stock: Inspecting goods for damage, verifying quantities, and updating inventory records.
  • Storage and Retrieval: Organizing and storing inventory in designated locations, and retrieving items for orders.
  • Order Fulfillment: Picking, packing, and customer orders according to instructions.
  • Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting stock counts, and identifying discrepancies.
  • Equipment Operation: Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.
  • Safety and Cleanliness: Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Other Tasks: Assisting with various warehouse tasks as needed, such as loading and unloading trucks, and preparing materials for shipping.
