Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers professionally and maintain confidentiality.
• Administer prescriptions and manage claiming procedures.
• Accurately capture and process scripts at the Central Pharmacy.
• Handle queries regarding prescriptions and patient profiles.
• Assist with chronic authorisations and liaise with health professionals.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding medication.
• Follow up on queries and meet operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate profiles for all work handled.

Skills

Knowledge of SAPC and relevant legal requirements

The role supports the company’s pharmacy services by delivering pharmaceutical care services and managing day‑to‑day dispensary administration in accordance with the company’s Standard Operating Plans (SOPs). The focus is on prescribing administration, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers professionally and maintain strict confidentiality in adherence to SOPs and agreed timelines.
• Administer prescriptions and manage all related claiming or capturing procedures.
• Accurately capture and process scripts received at the Central Pharmacy centre.
• Handle queries regarding prescriptions and patient profiles.
• Assist with chronic authorisations and liaise with healthcare professionals and other departments.
• Respond to telephone or other customer inquiries regarding medication and healthcare services.
• Follow up on queries, resolve problems, and meet operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate and complete handling of all profiles worked on.
