PetBot Project Coordinator
Responsibilities

Under administrative direction, is responsible for planning and administrating a specific project or program for a City department. Serves as the administrative supervisor on projects or programs. Plans, assigns, supervises, and reviews activities of subordinate personnel. Monitors the project or program's operating budget and assists in the annual preparation of same. Designs, implements, and monitors procedures utilized in program evaluation. Develops and secures commitments from other City departments and agencies to provide services to program participants. Provides technical assistance or reviews program policies and procedures. Maintains current information and oversees the preparation of project status reports. Prepares financial and narrative reports and program applications. Communicates project/program status and information to municipal officials and/or public and private entities. May supervise employees assigned to the respective project. Performs other related duties as required.

Detailed Project Duties
  • Under administrative direction, review and assign all construction permits received by Planning/Zoning determining which PETBot Departments (Planning, Engineering, Traffic Engineering, and Bureau of Traffic) should review:
  • Project Site Plan Approvals and determine whether the projects’ needs can be met with current infrastructure.
  • Design submissions and approvals for Public Utilities and Right of Way improvements/obstructions.
  • Final approval of work performed in the Right of Way.
  • Ensure that all PETBot review departments submit comments within the Service Level Agreement (SLA) assigned.
  • Maintain tracking of all PETBot reviews by departments generating necessary adjudication letters to the applicants with responses from review comments and perform a cursory review of the comments submitted by the PETBot review departments to verify entries are completed.
  • Perform plan review of the demolition plan, site plan, grading plan, utility plan, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) as needed for E&E (Engineering & Construction) review.
  • Coordinate with Accela IT personnel to update Accela features records as needed for support of the PETBot workflow.
  • Submit weekly reports on the progress of all PETBot permit reviews (#1, #2, and #3) and assess if there is a bottleneck within the process due to one of the PETBot reviewing departments not meeting the Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Assist Section Chief of ROW Permits (Right of Way) and Enforcement as needed.
  • Perform as needed, duties assisting with Residents First, Vision Zero and 50/50 Sidewalk Programs.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Business or Public Administration, Social Sciences, or closely related field preferred. Two (2) years of any equivalent combination of education, training and experience in program administration required. Must be able to lift and carry thirty (30) pounds. Valid State of Ohio Driver's License required.
