Job description

PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION

• Assist management in day-to-day store maintenance while providing excellent service and observing and maintaining all store policies and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures the highest level of adidas service is given to each customer.
• Completes regular sales transactions involving cash, credit, checks, etc., as needed.
• Involved indirectly with ticketing of products and checking paperwork against items received.
• Assists in product flow from stockroom to sales floor on a fill-in basis.
• Assists in the development of displays of merchandise or follows suggestions or schedules provided by the store management team.
• Attains proficiency with the point‑of‑sale system and maintains integrity through attention to policy and procedure.
• Uses selling techniques such as add‑on sales and describing technical information to customers to enhance salesmanship and reach store and position sales goals.
• Greets customers in the store and assists them in finding the right product; occasionally serves primarily as a greeter at the front door during busy workdays.
• Maintains general housekeeping standards, including cleaning of the store.
• Safeguards company assets.
• Performs loss prevention duties, monitors the sales floor, reports any suspicious activity, and follows security procedures/SLAP.
• Participates in in‑store or digital training (Atticus/AREA) to ensure product knowledge and role best practice.
• Familiarizes themselves with Power BI tools to understand store performance, best sellers, and black‑hole products.
