Overview

In Summary

As a Performance Manager, you will provide leadership to a multidisciplinary clinical team across either our MSK or Corporate services. You will play a central role in ensuring outstanding clinical outcomes, operational performance, and service excellence across your region. These two opportunities are ideal for proactive, people-focused leaders who thrive in a dynamic environment and can balance customer needs, operational demands, and clinical quality.

Responsibilities
  • Drive your team to meet or exceed operational targets, including billed hours and productivity
  • Make informed resourcing decisions based on demand
  • Champion agility within the region by supporting resource sharing across teams
  • Build and deliver against team KPIs while contributing to the regional strategic roadmap
  • Monitor service outcomes, NPS feedback, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
  • Work closely with Clinical & Service Leads to ensure effective allocation, audit quality, and service compliance
  • Build trusted relationships with ACC, insurers, private companies, case managers, and community partners
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, coaching, performance, and professional development
  • Adhere to Habit Health policies, the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and all contractual obligations
The Ideal Candidate Will Bring
  • Strong knowledge of NZ health services — including ACC, rehab, occupational health, and mental health
  • Experience in the successful management of multi-disciplinary teams
  • Intermediate business acumen and a data-informed approach to decision-making
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to build rapport and credibility with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Intermediate–advanced digital literacy
