Overview

Permanent | Quick Service Restaurant Industry

We are seeking an experienced People Development & Capacity Building Manager (HRBP) to drive the Attract, Develop, Reward, Engage, and Partner HR agenda across a fast-paced, multi-site QSR environment. This is a strategic, field-based role where you will partner closely with Regional Coaches, Area Coaches, and Operations Teams to ensure the right people are in the right roles, equipped and motivated to deliver business success.

Responsibilities
  • Attract Talent — Partner with the resourcing team to fill vacancies.
  • Build strong internal talent pipelines and ensure the right management teams are in place.
  • Develop Capability — Coach and develop Senior Managers and Area Coaches.
  • Lead soft skills training and people development initiatives.
  • Drive quality performance appraisals, reviews, and pay processes.
  • Engage Teams — Champion company values and embed an engaging culture across restaurants.
  • Analyse people survey results and implement meaningful action plans.
  • Reward Performance — Implement fair and motivating compensation and benefits strategies.
  • Manage pay reviews and communicate employee benefits effectively.
  • Business Partnering — Partner with Area Coaches to manage employee performance and ER matters.
  • Lead People Plan Reviews to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Influence people decisions that directly impact business performance.
Minimum Requirements
  • Education: A completed tertiary qualification in HR, Business, or Social Sciences (postgraduate qualification advantageous).
  • Experience: 68 years generalist HR experience in a multi-site, fast-paced environment (QSR, FMCG, or Retail essential).
  • Strong track record of managing HR teams and partnering with operations leaders.
  • Previous field HRBP experience highly desirable.
  • Competencies: Strong business acumen with a commercial mindset.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to inspire, coach, and motivate diverse teams.
  • Innovative problem-solver who can balance strategy with hands-on delivery.
  • Valid, unendorsed SA driver's license and own vehicle.
