Responsibilities

  • Receive, identify, label and stock parts in the storeroom.
  • Pick, pack and ship parts orders to customers.
  • Provide technical advice on parts to customers.
  • Maintain records of parts inventory, orders and invoices.
  • Process returns and exchanges.
  • Locate parts using the computer system.

Job description

Job Purpose:

Will be responsible for the management and distribution of spare parts, components and equipment across various industries. They work closely with customers and suppliers to ensure that the correct parts are sourced, ordered and delivered on time. A typical day for a Parts Person involves researching parts and equipment, maintaining inventory levels, processing orders and providing customer service. They also keep track of warranties and returns, and ensure that all products meet industry regulations and safety standards. Overall, a Parts Person plays a crucial role in keeping various industries running efficiently and effectively by providing essential parts and equipment. This position will be based in Strand.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Qualified Parts Technician
  • Candidate must reside in the Helderberg areas. (Strand, Somerset West)
  • Grade 11/ 12
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Own reliable transport

Key Responsibilities:
