Part Time Shop Assistant - Faithful-to-Nature - V&A Waterfront

An exciting opportunity at Faithful to Nature has become available for a Part Time Shop Assistant at our store.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role.

Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.

Responsibilities
  • Uphold Company brand and standards at all times.
  • Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing.
  • Maximise store sales targets and encourage multiple Sales.
  • Provide customers with up to date advise and general knowledge of our Product and Environment.
  • Coordinate with the team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times).
  • Inform customers about discounts and special offers in store.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services.
  • Replenish store floor with merchandise.
  • Ensure all fixtures, prongs and shopfitting are fixed and the correct usage of equipment is adhered to.
  • Ensure the successful operation of the store by closely following directive instructed by Store Management.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures at all times.
  • Keep store clean and tidy at all times.
  • Unpack stock as per FtN procedure.
  • Ensure IBT’s and stock control of all incoming and outgoing stock adhered to.
  • Ensure that all administrative task like (Daily Banking, Daily and weekly banking sheet, target sheets,Admin cross checks (voids and cancellations) andDisbursement controls) are adhere to.
  • Any other ad hoc duties requiredfrom time to time.

Requirements
  • Matric or NQF equivalent.
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 1-2 years Retail and Customer experience.
  • Have Health and Wellness knowledge to assist Customers.
  • Communicate effectively in English.
  • Communication (Listening, oral, oral presentation, written).
  • Administrative Orientation (personal satisfaction from administrative performance and responsibilities).
  • Sales Ability/Persuasiveness (utilizing appropriate interpersonal styles and methods of communication to gain agreement or acceptance of an idea, plan, activity or product from clientele).
  • Have own reliable transport.
