Emeris Pietermaritzburg Campus has a vacancy for a Part time Lecturer within the School of Humanities for the following module for the 2026 Academic year:

Minimum Qualification Requirements

• NQF 7 or 8 qualification in Humanities, Language or Journalism disciplines where English is a major.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements

• Lecturing experience in English or Linguistics.
• Work experience as a Journalist, Editor, Publisher or Writer.

Working Conditions

• Please note that this is a Part‑time role with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00.
• Preference will be given to South African Citizens and Permanent Residents of South Africa in possession of proof of permanent resident status.
