Operations Supervisor - Port Elizabeth

Job Purpose: Seeking an Operations Supervisor at our Port Elizabeth Branch. The candidate should be a highly motivated, disciplined, self-starting individual. Willing to work long hours and weekends (available 24/7/365). The candidate must be presentable and well spoken. Able to converse with clients and resolve client complaints.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day planning of branch resources.
• Logistical planning of equipment, site deliveries and collections.
• Allocation of manpower.
• Attend to site specific issues.
• Record keeping (employee & fleet matrix).
• Crane operator recertification and annual medicals tracking.
• Planned Job Observations.
• Problem solving.
• Attend to non-branch related tasks.
• Shutdown planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum GR 12 Senior certificate.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Minimum 3years operations supervision.
• Computer literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Sales experience an advantage.
• Rigging experience an advantage (preference will be given).
