Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Assistant to join our team in Johannesburg South, South Africa. The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office staff and ensuring the smooth operation of daily office activities. Key Responsibilities: - Greet and assist visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner - Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate person or department - Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and organizing - Maintain office supplies and ensure inventory is well-stocked - Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments - Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents - Handle basic accounting tasks such as invoicing and expense tracking - Keep track of company records and files - Perform general clerical duties, including copying, scanning, and filing - Coordinate travel arrangements for staff members - Assist with special projects and events as needed Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role - Proficient in Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Attention to detail and accuracy - Basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information - Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as needed Contract Details: This is a full-time, permanent position based in Johannesburg South, South Africa.
