Qualifications

  • Experience in marketplace, ecommerce SAAS or retail sales.
  • Minimum of 2 years prior sales experience.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools is an advantage.

Mr D , a division of the Takealot Group, is looking for a highly talented Retail Account Manager to join our teams in Cape Town.

This position reports to the Sales Regional Lead for Mr D.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identify and prioritise suitable partners for the Mr D platform
  • Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Own the partner sign-up process
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for shops partners
  • Strengthen relationships with partners and monitor their business and store performance
  • Ensure timeous and effective solutions and feedback to partners
  • Ensure strict partner visit standards are maintained
  • Source promotions from partners that align with business objectives
  • Deliver against hub and regional advertising goals
  • Educate partners on available advertising tools and ensure uptake across a portfolio of partners

Qualifications:

  • Experience in marketplace, ecommerce SAAS or retail sales

  • Prior experience in the hospitality industry (Not essential)
