Job description

A Well-established Luxury Dealership has an opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team in Stellenbosch (Western Cape).

Requirements:

• Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician (Red Seal)
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a motor vehicle dealership (preferably in the premium segment) would be an advantage
• Computer literate
• Good planning and organizing skills
• Good problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete repair orders efficiently and within the allocated time
• Achieve workshop labour targets by working efficiently and upselling where possible
• Diagnose customer problems, provide appropriate solutions, and communicate effectively
• Ensure parts are ordered promptly and booked out to Job Cards to enable timely repairs
• Stay informed on technological changes by attending training, reading bulletins, and acquiring knowledge to serve customers’ needs
• Support the Service Manager and Foreman with beneficial tasks
• Manage adherence to all Dealership business processes and promote ongoing improvements
• Keep workstations, equipment, tools, and vehicles neat, clean, and well-maintained
