Our client is seeking an experienced Millwright to join the Krugersdorp, Gauteng team,

• Install, align, dismantle, and move machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and repair or replace defective parts as needed.
• Operate hand and power tools, welding equipment, and other machinery safely and effectively.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other team members to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task.
• Supervise contractors’ work on site.
• Maintain inventory of parts worked on during an installation.
• Complete inspections and replace defective equipment.
• Perform standby duties when needed.

Requirements

• Trade Tested Millwright
• Minimum 2 years’ post trade experience gained in the automotive industry
• Plastics / polymer / extrusion industry experience will be an advantage
• Experience working in manufacturing, construction, or other industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and equipment
• Proficiency in operating hand and power tools, welding equipment, and other machinery
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation
• Candidate must reside in or near Krugersdorp to perform standby duties and attend to call-outs
