Job description

Our Client,a dynamic and growing interior design firm specializing in corporate environments and commercial fit-outs is HIRING!We are seeking a talented Mid-Level Interior Designer to join their creative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop interior design concepts for corporate office spaces and commercial fit-out projects.
  • Produce detailed drawings, 3D renders, mood boards, material boards, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, suppliers, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Attend client meetings and site visits to gather requirements and ensure design execution aligns with vision and standards.
  • Select materials, furniture, fixtures, and finishes that meet project budgets and design goals.
  • Assist with space planning, workplace strategy, and FF&E coordination.
  • Ensure all designs comply with building codes, health and safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within deadlines.
  • Work with the Quantity Surveyor and Construction Manager to develop a fit-out costing that meets the clients budgetary requirements.
  • Prepare furniture budgets that are within the clients budget.
  • Practically and logically apply knowledge in furniture and work with the Admin Assistant and Factory Manager to produce furniture estimates.
  • Contribute to the development of construction estimates.
  • Oversee the furniture installation and final finishes.
  • Arrange for the official handover of the site to the client.
  • Point out and relay snags and programme concerns to the Construction Manager.

Qualifications and Attributes:

Literacy: must be able to speak, read and write English.

Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD (to be phased out).

1-2 years interior design experience.

Interior design exposure (preferably commercial).

Interior Design Diploma; Bachelors Degree in Interior Design.

Computer literate and competent in the Google Suite.
