A recruitment agency in South Africa is seeking a Medical Sales Representative to promote products and maintain positive customer relationships. Responsibilities include presenting products, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and resolving customer issues. Ideal candidates have a Matric and a Bachelor's degree in business or medical fields. Purpose:

Selling scheduled products and services using solid arguments to prospective customers.Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers.Engaging with customers on a commercial level on product support and maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid commercial arguments to existing andprospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to high potential unallocated customers
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyse the territory/markets potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, andpotential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback

Qualifications and experience:

  • Matric
  • Bachelors degree in business or a Medical related qualification
  • Rookie representative will be considered
  • Proven work experience as a sales representative would be an advantage
