We are seeking a Medical Accounts Administrator for a permanent role based in East London, Eastern Cape.

Qualifications
  • Grade 12 with proven experience in a medical administration / healthcare related finance role (non-negotiable)
  • Solid knowledge of medical aids, billing systems, and claim processes
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Previous experience in debt recovery or a similar field beneficial
  • Proficiency in office software and medical administrative tools
Responsibilities
  • General administrative duties, including managing patient records, filing, and office coordination
  • Phone communication with patients and medical aid providers to follow up on outstanding debts
  • Liaise with medical aids to query and resolve claims issues
  • Assisting with payment tracking from patients and medical aids
  • Respond to inquiries from patients, medical aids, and healthcare professionals
