Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Specialist to support the Head of Newbusiness Developmentin evaluating, testing, and standardising equipment across our operations in multiple countries within the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented Industrial Engineering graduate with a passion for operational efficiency, process improvement, and technical problem-solving. This role bridges technical analysis with practical, operational execution, ensuring that all imported equipment meets the required standards for performance, safety, and usability across our international sites.


Responsibilities


  • Assist the Head of Development in testing and evaluating new and existing equipment for multiple countries.

  • Develop and document comprehensive test specifications, procedures, and protocols.

  • Conduct functional and operational tests on imported equipment to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards across sites.

  • Create diagrams, schematics, and visual documentation to support testing, reporting, and standardisation.

  • Compile test reports with clear analysis, observations, and recommendations for operational improvements.

  • Support the standardisation of equipment and processes across different countries, ensuring consistency in operations.

  • Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders across multiple regions to ensure equipment meets operational requirements.

  • Identify potential operational issues and recommend practical, implementable solutions suitable for international operations.

  • Keep up to date with industry best practice in equipment testing and process optimisation within the QSR sector.


Qualifications & Skills


  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on operational efficiency.

  • Ability to develop clear, detailed test specifications and reports.

  • Proficiency in creating diagrams, flowcharts, and technical documentation.

  • Strong communication skills – able to translate technical concepts to operational teams across countries.

  • Proactive mindset, with a willingness to learn and support the development team.

  • Prior experience with equipment testing or operational standardisation is advantageous but not essential.
