Qualifications

  • 5+ years of component rebuilding experience.
  • Qualified in relevant trade, preferably as a Diesel Mechanic or Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic.
  • Computer literacy in relevant systems required.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, troubleshoot, inspect, evaluate, and assemble components to OEM standard.
  • Compile accurate component analysis and reports.
  • Inspect, repair, and maintain CAT equipment.

Job description
Key Outputs
  • Disassemble, troubleshoot, inspect, evaluate, and assemble components to OEM standard.
  • Compile accurate component analysis and reports
  • Maintain professional image when representing BWE
  • Warranty, REMAN returns
  • Compile component condition / failure reports
  • Safety Orientated
  • Inspect, Repair and Maintain CAT equipment
  • Compile accurate customer machine analysis and reports including Machine Inspection Reports (MIR’s) and Technical Analysis Reports (TA’s)
  • Maintain professional image when representing BWE
  • Ensure safe work practice
  • Control Contamination
  • Control own admin (labour booking, service reports, part returns, expenses etc.)
  • Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of own work are consistently and accurately maintained.
Qualifications, Experience And Competencies
  • Matric or equivalent
