About the job Maternity Cover Accountant

Our client in the Property Sector is looking to recruit a Temporary Accountant to join their large team. This role would be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, analyzing budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Duties Include
  1. Maintain and reconcile financial records, including general ledger accounts, bank statements, and other financial documents.
  2. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with accounting standards and regulations.
  3. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  4. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights to support strategic planning.
  5. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
  6. Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, operations, and management, to provide financial guidance and support decision-making.
  7. Conduct financial audits to verify accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and records.
  8. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets and mitigate risk.
  9. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations, standards, and practices, and ensure adherence to best practices.
Qualifications
